Overview
- Christopher Lacour, 33, was indicted on manslaughter and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in the May 21 Northbridge shooting that killed his brother, Jonathan Lacour, 36.
- A police report states Christopher told investigators the shooting was accidental, and an autopsy found Jonathan died from a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
- Court records show Christopher previously pleaded not guilty in Uxbridge District Court, was released on personal recognizance, and is expected to be arraigned in Superior Court on Oct. 21.
- In a separate case, Worcester resident Michael Wilcox Jr. was indicted on murder in the June 18 shooting of his older brother, Shaun Tatum, who died at a hospital the next day.
- Prosecutors say Wilcox was initially arraigned on six charges, and his case is being transferred to Worcester County Superior Court for an arraignment scheduled Friday.
