Two Indian Soldiers Killed in IED Blast Along LoC in Jammu and Kashmir

Captain Karamjit Singh Bakshi and Naik Mukesh Singh Manhas died during a fence patrol in the Akhnoor sector as security forces intensified search operations for suspected terrorists.

The blast occurred on Tuesday afternoon near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Bhattal area of the Akhnoor sector while soldiers were conducting a routine fence patrol.
Captain Karamjit Singh Bakshi from Ranchi and Naik Mukesh Singh Manhas from Jammu were identified as the two soldiers who lost their lives in the explosion.
The Indian Army's White Knight Corps paid tribute to the soldiers, calling their deaths a 'supreme sacrifice,' while search operations in the area continue.
This incident marks the third cross-border action by suspected terrorists in the Jammu region within four days, prompting heightened security measures by Indian forces along the LoC and the international border.
Family members and community leaders of the deceased soldiers have called for decisive action against the perpetrators and stronger measures to prevent such attacks in the future.
