Overview

• Officers responded around 1:50 a.m. to the 100 block of East Main Street near the South Mangum Street parking garage and later learned a victim had arrived at a nearby hospital in stable condition.
• A second call came just before 2:30 a.m. to the 2000 block of Meade Lane, where an adult male with a gunshot wound was taken to a hospital in life-threatening condition.
• Durham Police said the two shootings do not appear connected and reported no arrests as of the latest update.
