• The shooting was reported around 11:30 p.m. at Pistol Pete’s Bar & Grill on Stonington Road in Norwich.
• Both victims were taken to William W. Backus Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
• Police identified the suspect as Keith Nival, 44, of Norwich, and listed charges including attempted first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge, first-degree reckless endangerment, and second-degree breach of peace.
