Overview

• Police say a GPS SOS on Monday reported three people had gone over Meachen Creek Falls near the B.C.–Alberta border.
• Responding officers found a 68-year-old woman deceased about halfway down the falls that day.
• RCMP later located a 35-year-old woman dead and are working to recover her body.
• A 35-year-old man remains missing and is presumed deceased as searchers look to recover him.
• Investigators say the case remains open but the deaths are not considered suspicious.
