Overview

• A GPS SOS on Monday reported three people had gone over Meachen Creek Falls near the B.C.–Alberta border.
• Responding officers located a deceased 68-year-old woman partway down the falls.
• By Wednesday, RCMP said a 35-year-old woman had been found dead and recovery of her body was underway.
• A 35-year-old man remained missing as of Wednesday afternoon and was presumed dead, with efforts ongoing to locate him.
• RCMP stated the investigation continues and the deaths are not believed to be suspicious.
