Overview

• The stabbing took place on Haybridge Avenue in Hadley at around 2:30 pm on Monday, July 7.
• Paramedics treated the man for serious but non-life-threatening wounds before he was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
• A 22-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were arrested later that day on suspicion of attempted murder and continue to be held in custody.
• Officers from Telford CID, led by Detective Inspector Paul Drury, have sustained a visible community patrol in Hadley during ongoing enquiries.
