Two Held After Calcutta University Students Beaten, Branded 'Bangladeshi' Near Sealdah

Investigators say more suspects are being tracked following the hostel boarders’ assault.

According to the student, the shopkeeper at the Sealdah market hurled abuses and called him a “Bangladeshi”,
The students subsequently lodged a written complaint at Muchipara police station and staged a protest outside.
