• Manpreet Jatana, 34, and Jaskiret Singh Uppal, 36, both of Pennine Way in Hayes, were charged after consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.

• Emergency services found Penelope deceased at a home on Pennine Way, Hayes, at 6:09pm on 17 December 2023.
• The Metropolitan Police said the investigation continues following the arrests made on Thursday, 25 September.
• Police identified the victim as three-year-old Penelope Chandrie from Hayes.
