Overview

• On Saturday morning around 11:15 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call on the 14000 block of Skyline Boulevard near Skyline Circle and Keller Avenue.
• They found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds near a vehicle and pronounced both dead at the scene, with identities withheld pending family notification.
• Investigators taped off the area and confirmed nearby homes were not involved, saying there is no active threat to the public.
• The Oakland Police Department has opened a homicide investigation and has not identified any suspects or confirmed if one of the victims was the shooter.
