Two Elizabeth City Shootings Leave 2 Wounded as Police Arrest Suspect in Second Case

• Around 4 p.m., officers found Nicholas Anton Bogues, 35, with a gunshot wound near Pritchard Street and Main Street, and he was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
• At about 4:50 p.m., police responded to gunfire near North Road Street and West Cypress Street, where Roshanna Shameta Mullen-Grace was located and later transferred from Albemarle Medical Center to Sentara Norfolk General.
• Officers arrested Daniel Edmond Grace, 46, in connection with the second incident and booked him into Albemarle District Jail without bond.
• Grace faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, discharging a weapon in an occupied property, and discharging a firearm in the city.
• His first court appearance is set for Monday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m., and police say both investigations remain ongoing as they seek tips from the public, with no indication the two shootings are connected.
