Two Detained in Kidnapping and Murder of BJP Leader’s Uncle in Pune

Satish Wagh, uncle of BJP MLC Yogesh Tilekar, was abducted on Monday morning near Shewalwadi Chowk in Pune while on a walk and later found murdered near Yavat, 40 km from the abduction site.
Pune police have detained two suspects and are interrogating them to uncover motives and additional details about the crime.
Investigators are examining Wagh’s financial dealings, including a ₹35 lakh loan dispute, as a potential motive for the crime.
The victim’s body showed multiple injuries, including stab wounds, and evidence suggests he was also beaten with a wooden stick before being killed.
Police have formed multiple teams and are coordinating efforts across Pune and Solapur districts to apprehend all individuals involved.
