Overview
- A 17-year-old male was found in cardiac arrest around 2:00 a.m. on Calle Lagartera in Puente de Vallecas after a knife attack to the left chest, and died despite a field thoracotomy.
- A 63-year-old man was discovered with multiple stab wounds at 5:40 a.m. on Calle Alonso Cano in Chamberí, and died after roughly 40 minutes of advanced CPR.
- National Police confirmed the use of knives in both incidents and have not identified suspects.
- Investigators have not established motives, and officers have not ruled out a youth-gang fight in the Vallecas case, which remains unconfirmed.
- Emergency services also reported a separate traffic crash on the M-31 that left one person seriously injured.
