- State highway patrol officers were attempting to stop another vehicle when a stolen white Holden Cruise sped past on Diggers Rest–Coimadai Road just before 10am Sunday.

- A male passenger in his 30s from the Holden sustained upper-body injuries and was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
