Overview

• Essex Police arrested the drivers of both vehicles on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
• The two who died were identified as Rishiteja Rapolu and Chaitanya Tarre after the A130 crash at the Rayleigh Spur roundabout in Essex.
• Sai Goutham Ravulla is receiving ventilator support at the Royal London Hospital, and Nuthan Thatikayala has been reported partially paralysed.
• Three other survivors — Yuva Teja Reddy Gurram, Vamshi Golla and Venkata Sumanth Pentyala — were transferred to the Royal London Hospital for treatment.
