Overview

• The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 4:15am on Monday at the Rayleigh Spur roundabout on the A130 near Wickford.
• Two men from Barking, aged 23 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
• Both suspects have been released on police bail until 20 November as inquiries continue.
• One victim died at the scene and another died later in hospital, while five people remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
