Two Dead After Boat Capsizes Near South Australia’s Beachport

An 82-year-old and a 69-year-old man died, while a 59-year-old woman was hospitalized; police investigations are ongoing.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene after being found unresponsive near Point Connor, south of Beachport, South Australia.
A 59-year-old woman, also found unresponsive, was transported to the hospital for treatment.
All three individuals involved in the incident were residents of the nearby town of Millicent.
Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances and are currently investigating the cause of the capsizing with assistance from the Water Operations Unit.
A separate search for a missing swimmer off Adelaide’s Henley Beach has concluded with no further sightings or reports of missing persons.
