  • At 14:38 on July 31, SEPA firefighters extricated a 58-year-old driver from a car that collided with a truck on the AS-213 near Piedrafita in Tineo.
  • SAMU evacuated the woman to Hospital Carmen y Severo Ochoa in Cangas del Narcea, where she remains hospitalized with a reserved prognosis pending further tests.
  • At 14:40 a separate vehicle veered off the AS-114 in Onís and plunged about seven meters, injuring a 54-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman.
  • Firefighters used a rescue board to immobilize and free the female passenger before both were taken to Hospital del Oriente and later discharged with mild injuries.
  • The 112 Asturias coordination center mobilized SEPA and SAMU teams and notified the Guardia Civil de Tráfico within minutes of each call.
