Two CPI (Maoist) Central Committee Leaders Killed in Abujhmad, Chhattisgarh Operation

Officials called the intelligence-led Abujhmad raid a step toward the government's 2026 target to end Naxal violence.

  • The deceased were identified as Katta Ramachandra Reddy (Raju Dada), 63, and Kadri Satyanarayana Reddy (Kosa Dada), 67, each carrying a Rs 40 lakh reward.
  • Joint teams of the District Reserve Guard and Border Security Force launched the raid after specific inputs in Narayanpur's Abujhmad forests near the Maharashtra border.

  • Police said this year’s tally of Maoists killed in Chhattisgarh has risen to roughly 248–249, with further combing and verification underway.
