• Police said it was miraculous no one was injured when two shotgun blasts hit living room and bedroom windows of a Vicarage Street home on 17 February.
• Asaan Hussain, 30, was identified as the gunman and was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
• Sima Khan, 31, was found guilty of assisting an offender and possession of a firearm after officers found a self‑loading pistol with live rounds at her address, which forensic testing showed was not used in the shooting.
• CCTV inquiries showed Hussain had parked a stolen Hyundai near the scene on 13 February, took a taxi back shortly before the attack, then drove the car to fire at the property.
• Investigators said the attack was planned, reporting Hussain met Khan near Sandwell Valley Country Park after the shooting and that the pair fled to Wales before later arrests at their Birmingham homes.
