Two City of Miami Officers Shot as Police Hold One Suspect, Contain Another

Police say a ShotSpotter alert drew units to the block, triggering a lockdown.

  • Responding units found a male and a female City of Miami Police officer with gunshot wounds to their legs and transported them to Ryder Trauma Center.

  • Police said they arrested one man after he told them he was coming back to the scene, and they have another person contained within the search perimeter.
