Overview
- Etablissements Dubois-Boulay is withdrawing raw-milk Chavignol AOP after STEC O103 was detected, affecting lot PONT0509 with best-before dates 31 October 2025 and 15 December 2025 (ID code FR 18.241.051 CE).
- The same producer also flagged Crottin de Chavignol AOP fermier LRDC, lot J52600094 with a 27 October 2025 date, over suspected STEC O103 contamination.
- The affected Chavignol cheeses were distributed in Germany via FROMI GmbH, with sales reported in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein.
- Sales & Service Aktuell GmbH separately recalled Raclette Entremont sliced cheese due to suspected Listeria, covering 125 g packs (15, 22, 27 Nov 2025), 200 g packs (22–23 Nov 2025) and 1 kg packs (18 Nov 2025).
- Consumers are urged not to eat the listed products, to return them for a refund or follow disposal guidance, and to seek medical advice for symptoms such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain or vomiting, with heightened caution for pregnant people, young children, older adults and those with weakened immune systems.
