Two Charged with Boxing Day Murder in Newtownards

A man and woman face murder charges after Mark Dorrian was found with fatal injuries in County Down.

Mark Dorrian, 50, was discovered unconscious with head injuries in a flat on West Street, Newtownards, in the early hours of Boxing Day.
He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries, prompting a murder investigation by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
A 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been charged with his murder and are scheduled to appear in Downpatrick Magistrates' Court on Monday, December 30.
A 58-year-old woman who was also arrested in connection with the case has been released unconditionally, according to police.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Dorrian's death and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
