Two Charged with Boxing Day Murder in Newtownards
A man and woman face murder charges after Mark Dorrian was found with fatal injuries in County Down.
- Mark Dorrian, 50, was discovered unconscious with head injuries in a flat on West Street, Newtownards, in the early hours of Boxing Day.
- He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries, prompting a murder investigation by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
- A 33-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been charged with his murder and are scheduled to appear in Downpatrick Magistrates' Court on Monday, December 30.
- A 58-year-old woman who was also arrested in connection with the case has been released unconditionally, according to police.
