Overview
- The fire began around 2:25 p.m. on Dec. 12 after a passerby reported flames from the first floor in Ōkubochō 5-chōme.
- A wooden two-story four-unit longhouse was destroyed, and nearby houses also burned over a total of about 370 square meters.
- Another residence sustained exterior wall damage, according to Moriguchi Police.
- Firefighters brought the blaze largely under control about nine and a half hours after the emergency call.
