Overview
- Fire broke out around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 30 at a two-story wooden home in Noda, Ibogawa-cho, Tatsuno City.
- The 51-year-old male resident noticed flames on the second floor and called Japan’s emergency number, 119.
- Firefighters extinguished the blaze in about an hour and discovered two unidentified bodies in the second-floor remains.
- Police say the household included the caller, his mother in her 70s, and his brother in his 40s, and the two relatives have not been reached.
