• Coast Guard Station Marblehead was alerted just after 2 p.m. Saturday to a fire aboard one recreational boat in Put-In-Bay Harbor
• The blaze is believed to have started during a refueling mishap on one vessel before it drifted into another and ignited it
• The operator jumped into the water with severe burns and was rescued by Good Samaritans and EMS personnel
• Coast Guard crews and local teams extinguished both fires and confirmed no other passengers were aboard either vessel
• One boat was towed ashore while the other was grounded off Gibraltar Island pending owner identification
