  • Around 3:01 a.m. on June 3, attackers detonated ATMs at the Stadt-und Kreissparkasse on Mönaustraße and the VR-Bank at Rudeltplatz in Erlangen.
  • Police deployed a helicopter and ground units to pursue suspects who fled in a dark vehicle and have appealed for witness information.
  • Bavarian LKA officers safely neutralized a second explosive charge and will analyze it for DNA and other forensic clues.
