Two Arrested in Nalasopara Killing of Nigerian National as Police Search for Third Suspect

Investigators are probing whether a quarrel among rival drug peddlers led to the late-night attack.

  • Witnesses reported that a glass bottle was smashed on his head before further blows caused him to collapse and die at the spot.
  • Tulinj police identified the accused as Ayoola Babajide Bartholomew, 50, Oghene Igere, 47, and Odia Izu Peculiar, 50.
  • Hindustan Times reports two arrests with a third suspect absconding, while an earlier Free Press Journal report said all three were in custody.
