Overview

• Officers attended the city centre house on August 18 after receiving intelligence about drug dealing.
• As police moved in, a man ran into a neighbour’s garden to hide suspected drugs before returning.
• A search recovered a large quantity of drugs and cash, and one man had a Cartier watch.
• A 45-year-old and a 19-year-old were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class B cannabis, with the older suspect also held on suspicion of possessing criminal property.
• Both were questioned in custody then released under investigation, as SIO Jimmy Belmar appealed for information via Crimestoppers or Merseyside Police.
