Two Arrested in Delhi for Murder of Transgender Person under Telco T-Point Bridge

  • A 25-year-old transgender person identified as Karan alias Annu was found dead under the Telco T-Point bridge in Madhu Vihar on August 4 with a slit throat and multiple stab wounds.
  • Delhi Police registered a murder case under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Madhu Vihar police station following the discovery of the body.
  • Late-night Crime Branch raids on August 5 led to the arrest of Rehan alias Ikka (19) and Md Sarver (20) in Trans-Yamuna and Ghaziabad areas.
  • Both accused, including the victim’s live-in partner, admitted to plotting the killing amid alleged financial disputes and possessive motives.
  • A minor initially detained at the scene named the victim’s ex-husband as the assailant and remains under investigation as officers collect further evidence.
