Two Arrested in Delhi Bed Box Murder as Husband Remains at Large

Police have apprehended two suspects in the murder of Anju alias Anjali, whose body was found decomposing in a bed box, while her husband, a key suspect, is still being sought.

Two suspects, flat owner Vivekanand Mishra and accomplice Abhay Kumar Jha, have been arrested, with Jha apprehended while attempting to flee to Bihar.
Anju's husband, Ashish Kumar, remains absconding and is believed to be a key suspect in the murder, which allegedly occurred after she witnessed the three men in a compromising position.
The murder reportedly took place on March 23, 2025, at Mishra's flat, with the suspects initially fleeing to Jaipur before returning to Delhi to plan the disposal of the body.
Police are continuing their investigation into the motive, focusing on potential personal disputes and relationships between the suspects, while efforts to locate Ashish Kumar are ongoing.
