Two Arrested in Colma Over Pokémon Card Line Dispute Stabbing

Police have charged Isaiah Calles and Miguel Orellanas-Flores with multiple felonies after the assault left a man hospitalized.

Overview

  • The altercation began on July 5 at 9:22 a.m. when a man accused another of cutting in line for Pokémon cards at a Colma GameStop.
  • Isaiah Calles, 27, allegedly struck the victim in the back of the head with a Mason jar, and Miguel Orellanas-Flores, 49, then used the shattered glass to stab him.
  • Both suspects fled separately but were located and arrested later that day by Colma Police Department officers.
  • Calles and Orellanas-Flores face charges of assault with a deadly weapon, assault causing great bodily injury, battery with serious bodily injury and conspiracy to commit a crime.
  • The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition, and detectives are asking anyone with information to call the tip line at 650-997-8321.
