Overview
- The attempted robbery happened at around 3 a.m. on Wednesday when four masked, armed people entered the grounds of Daniel Scioli’s home in Villa La Ñata, Tigre.
- Oncoming custodians confronted the intruders in a guarded outpost, officers shouted 'alto, policía' and one attacker pointed a 9 mm pistol before the group fled back to their car and escaped.
- Prosecutor Cosme Iribarren of the UFI Benavídez analyzed camera images and statements and identified suspects in roughly 16 hours, leading to two arrests and several search warrants.
