Overview
- The collision occurred around 7:25pm on Saturday, December 6, on the A952 between the Toll of Birness and Mintlaw at Clola.
- A grey Land Rover Evoque and a black Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the two-vehicle crash.
- A 24-year-old male passenger died at the scene and the 24-year-old female driver died later at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
- A 62-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman from the Evoque were taken to hospital, along with two boys aged seven and five.
- The road was closed for several hours for a forensic examination as Police Scotland said enquiries continue.
