Overview

• The 18-year-old scrap godown worker was attacked in Gali No. 6, Bhagirathi Vihar, on Thursday and was declared dead on arrival at GTB Hospital.
• Police received a 4.54 pm call and reached the scene, where they learned the victim had been taken to hospital by his brother and declared brought dead.
• A case was registered at Gokalpuri police station under BNS sections 103(1) and 3(5) along with provisions of the Arms Act.
• CCTV footage and forensic work pointed to two assailants, leading to the apprehension of two 17-year-olds.
