Overview

• The shooting spanned roughly 7:45 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday in Croydon Park in Sydney’s Inner West, with gunfire directed from above a shop toward passing vehicles and buses.
• Twenty people were injured, including one man in serious condition with a gunshot wound and 19 others treated for shrapnel and broken glass injuries.
• Police arrested the 60-year-old less than two hours after the first shots, seized multiple firearms including rifles, and said the suspect sustained minor injuries during his capture.
