Overview

• Governor Bandaru Dattatraya administered the oath of office to TVSN Prasad and four State Information Commissioners at Raj Bhavan on May 26.
• TVSN Prasad, a former IAS officer who retired as Haryana Chief Secretary, will lead the State Information Commission.
• The newly appointed commissioners are Amarjit Singh, Karmvir Saini, Neeta Khera and Sanjay Madaan.
• Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi conducted the proceedings while Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended the ceremony.
• Governor Dattatraya urged the commissioners to discharge their duties with impartiality and dedication to strengthen the RTI framework.
