Overview
- The Apache RTX debuts in three trims—Base, Top and BTO—priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.14 lakh and Rs 2.29 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), with bookings open and deliveries expected soon.
- Power comes from TVS’s new 299.1cc RT-XD4 single producing 36 hp and 28.5 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox, assist and slipper clutch, and a bi-directional quickshifter.
- Rider aids include four modes (Urban, Rain, Tour, Rally), traction control and cruise control, while higher trims add a 5-inch TFT with SmartXonnect features such as Google Maps mirroring and, on the BTO, TPMS.
- Built on a steel trellis frame, the bike features a 41 mm USD fork and rear monoshock with 180 mm travel, 19/17-inch wheels, dual-channel ABS, 200 mm ground clearance, an 835 mm seat height and a 180 kg kerb weight.
- Positioned against KTM 250 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom SX and Royal Enfield Himalayan, the model is backed by factory accessories and partnerships including Givi luggage and Alpinestars riding gear.
