TV Total’ Returns Strong as ProSieben Debuts Short-Run ‘Stand-Up Club’

ProSieben is testing a brief stand-up spin-off with Joyn streaming after moving the brand to Tuesdays to avoid a Stefan Raab timeslot clash.

Overview

  • TV Total’s summer-break comeback on 19 August drew 15.8% in the 14–49 demo and 1.07 million viewers overall, with a 10.7% share among 14–59-year-olds, according to DWDL figures cited by Promiflash.
  • The new TV total Stand-Up Club premiered immediately afterward and retained 0.75 million viewers, launching as the first of a three-episode run.
  • The refreshed lineup places TV Total Tuesdays at 20:15 on ProSieben, followed at 21:25 by the Stand-Up Club, with both shows also available on Joyn.
  • The Stand-Up Club’s opening night featured Atze Schröder, Ingmar Stadelmann, Özcan Cosar, Hendrik Brehmer and Maria Ziffy performing for a live audience.
  • ProSieben narrowly missed the day’s market lead despite the strong start, as Vox edged ahead with reruns of Hot oder Schrott.
