TV Producer Eric Weinberg to Stand Trial on 28 Rape and Sexual Assault Charges

Weinberg, known for his work on 'Scrubs' and 'Californication,' faces multiple life sentences if convicted.

Judge Charlaine Olmedo ruled there is sufficient evidence for a trial after hearing testimonies from nine women.
Weinberg allegedly lured women under the pretense of modeling opportunities before assaulting them.
The charges include forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, and sexual battery, among others.
Weinberg has been in custody since October 2022 after his bail was revoked.
Arraignment is set for June 4, with no trial date yet scheduled.
