  • Penalties for the sanctioned players range from three months to 12 months, according to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board.
  • Galatasaray’s Eren Elmali received a 45-day suspension and Metehan Baltaci a nine-month ban, with Elmali publicly denying involvement.
  • Earlier this week the TFF suspended 1,024 players across professional leagues pending review, and third- and fourth-division matches were postponed for two weeks.
  • Prosecutors issued detention orders for 21 people, including 17 referees and two club presidents, and BBC News Turkish confirmed the arrest of Eyupspor chairman Murat Ozkaya alongside six referees and another individual.
  • The probe follows TFF findings that 371 of 571 referees held betting accounts, with some placing thousands of wagers, in violation of TFF, FIFA and UEFA rules.
