Turkish Airlines Pilot Dies Mid-Flight, Forcing Emergency Landing in New York

Despite immediate medical intervention, Pehlivan died before the Airbus A350 could land safely in New York.
The flight, which departed Seattle on Tuesday evening, was diverted after the incident occurred over northern Canada.
Pehlivan had been with Turkish Airlines since 2007 and passed a routine health check in March with no detected issues.
Turkish Airlines has expressed condolences to Pehlivan's family and is making arrangements for passengers to continue their journey to Istanbul.
