- CDB Aviation delivered the two aircraft on August 7 and 11 as the initial tranche of a 12-aircraft lease agreed in 2023.
- The jets, registered TC-OHB and TC-OHA, are currently stored at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport pending regulatory approval and interior fit-out.
- Each MAX 8 is powered by fuel-efficient CFM International LEAP-1B engines to bolster AJet’s narrow-body modernization efforts.
- In July, AJet also secured a lease for five Airbus A320neo aircraft from SMBC Aviation Capital to further expand its budget fleet.
