Turkey Detains 304 in Nationwide Anti-ISIL Operation

  • The operation, codenamed 'Heroes-34', was carried out by the police intelligence and counter-terrorism squads.
  • Turkey has been a target of deadly ISIL attacks since 2015, including a nightclub shooting in Istanbul on January 1, 2017, that killed 39 people.
