- Italy’s FIGC has put forward Turin’s Juventus Stadium for the Europa League finals in 2028 and 2029, competing with bids from France, Romania and Serbia for 2028, and from France, Romania and Turkey for 2029.
- Turin is also on UEFA’s list for the 2028 and 2029 Conference League finals alongside Lille, Budapest, candidate cities in Kazakhstan, Gdańsk and Helsinki.
- UEFA’s current phase is a preliminary list of candidates across eight club finals for 2028–2029, and the expressions of interest do not guarantee selection.
- FIGC president Gabriele Gravina endorsed the push and said the federation will prepare a formal bid with Juventus and the Municipality of Turin to try to bring another major event to Italy.
