Oher had previously accused the Tuohys of duping him into signing a conservator agreement, giving them control of his name, image and likeness, and claimed he never received any compensation from the movie.
The Tuohys insist they never received any money as conservators on behalf of Oher and never had control over any funds or any deals during a conservatorship that was terminated in September.
The Tuohys also claim they spent thousands of dollars of their own money to support Oher during his high school and college years, arguing they acted both ethically and generously.
Oher, in his recent book, disputes the portrayal of the Tuohys as his adoptive family and claims his success was due to his own efforts, not their support.
