Tulsa Appoints Tre Lamb as New Head Football Coach

Tre Lamb, previously head coach at East Tennessee State, has been hired to lead Tulsa's football program following Kevin Wilson's dismissal.
Lamb, 35, has five years of head-coaching experience, including leading Gardner-Webb to two FCS playoff appearances and a turnaround season at ETSU.
Tulsa athletic director Justin Moore praised Lamb for his energy, winning record, and ability to restore the program’s success in the competitive American Athletic Conference.
Lamb emphasized his commitment to building a championship-caliber team and plans to focus on hiring staff and developing a strong roster.
Tulsa finished this season with a 3-9 record, including 1-7 in conference play, and aims to regain its past success under Lamb’s leadership.
