- On May 6, Iuliu Kubola used a crowbar to break into a Threadneedle Street restaurant, stashing 76 bottles of wine into a wheelie bin before cycling away on his tuk-tuk
- He returned on June 15 to steal an additional three bottles worth around £680 and revisited the site on June 19 but did not take anything
- The break-ins caused approximately £1,425 in damage to external doors and locks
- PC Jordan Felstead arrested Kubola on June 22 in Cornhill after matching him to CCTV images and consulting with the City of London Police’s Criminal Investigation Department
