TTD Scraps Offline Tokens, Reserves First Three Vaikunta Dwara Darshan Days for E‑Dip Holders

The move follows last year's fatal offline-ticketing stampede.

Overview

  • Online e‑dip registration will run from November 27 to December 1, with tokens allotted on December 2 via TTD’s website, app and WhatsApp.
  • TTD will issue 800,000 tokens across December 30–January 8, allocating 164 of 182 darshan hours to ordinary devotees.
  • All other darshan categories are suspended on December 30, 31 and January 1, when only Sarva Darshan e‑dip token holders will be allowed.
  • From January 2–8, TTD will release 15,000 Rs 300 special entry tickets and 1,000 Srivani tickets online daily, with 5,000 local tokens each day on January 6–8.
  • The board also moved to pursue criminal cases in the Parakamani theft and said the Chief Minister is slated to lay a temple foundation stone in Amaravati on November 27.
