Overview

• The kiosks went live on June 24, 2025, at prasadam counters in Tirumala to issue laddu tokens efficiently.
• Pilgrims can use the machines at Union Bank and Canara Bank–operated counters to purchase additional laddus with or without a darshan ticket.
• A user-friendly interface guides users through selection and UPI-based payments to eliminate cash handling.
• Valid darshan ticket holders may buy up to two laddus per person based on headcount while others verify with Aadhaar for the same limit.
• The roll-out builds on TTD’s earlier deployment of donation kiosks for its free meals scheme, which feeds around 150,000 pilgrims daily.
